HOW
TO PLACE AN ORDER
Placing
an order on-line with Crafts Too Ltd. on our web site is quite straightforward.
The steps involved are as follows; you are not committed to purchase
until you confirm your order at the end of the process:
STEP
1 LOG ON
Only our registered customers may place orders with us. In order
to do so you must first LOG ON with your individual User Name and
Password. To do this click on the LOGON button at the top of every
page.
Non-registered
visitors are welcome to browse our catalogue, but our wholesale
prices will not be displayed. If you wish to register as a customer
click on the REGISTER button and complete the on-line form, or contact
us by phone or e-mail.
STEP
2 BROWSE THE CATALOGUE and BUILD YOUR ORDER
Browse
through our extensive catalogue or go straight to the section(s)
you want using the 'CATALOGUE', 'INDEX' or 'QUICK CATALOGUE' buttons
at the head of each page. If you want a particular product or item
but you're not sure where to find it try using the 'SEARCH' feature
or the 'QUICK SEARCH' panel on each page. If you want to repeat
a previous order maybe with just a few alterations you can use the
time-saving REPEAT ORDER feature (see below).
The
Catalogue is divided into a number of sections, some of which are
further sub-divided into smaller groups. You can move easily from
one section or sub-section to another using the various navigation
buttons and labels.
Depending
on the type of product an appropriate level of information (including
pictures if available) will be displayed to help you in your choice.
For some product groups containing a large number of lines the initial
pictures may be in the form of small 'thumbnail' images. (This saves
time in downloading the details of the product group to your PC
screen). If you click on the thumbnail of the picture you wish to
see in more detail a 'pop-up' window will be displayed containing
a full-sized version of the picture. To return to the catalogue
just close this window in the usual way.
Also, for some items which come in different sizes, colours etc.
the different choices will be displayed in a 'drop-down' list when
you click on the relevant box. You can then order your choice by
a further click on whatever option in the drop-down list you want.
If you want to order more than one option just repeat the process.
If
you decide to add a particular item to your order enter how many
you want in the 'quantity required' box against that item. On some
pages there may be an 'Add to Order' button for each product, in
which case just click on this to include the items in your order.
On some pages, so as to speed up the ordering process, products
will be displayed in the form of a 'picking list' with a 'quantity
required' box against each product and a single 'add to order' button
at the bottom of that page. Either way, just click on the button
and a screen will be displayed showing what you have ordered to
date.
Running
totals of the number of items ordered and the value (including VAT)
are displayed at the top of each page. You can also see the details
of the order you have built up so far at any time by clicking the
'View Order' button at the top or bottom of each page.
The 'View Order' page also allows you to amend the quantity you
have ordered if you wish, or to delete a particular product altogether
if you change your mind. To amend the quantity simply type in the
new quantity and click on 'UPDATE'. The screen will be re-displayed
showing the new details. To remove an item altogether just click
on the 'REMOVE' box against the item and then click on 'UPDATE'.
You can then either return to the Catalogue or submit your order
straight away by clicking the appropriate button.
STEP
3 - REVIEW AND CONFIRM YOUR ORDER
When
you have finished building your order click on the 'SUBMIT ORDER'
button. You will then be taken through a series of screens to complete
the order process. The order is not logged until the very end of
this sequence and you can go back, change or cancel order details
at any time.

and VAT). Please note that the alternative delivery address option
is not active. If you wish to change your normal delivery address

This will be the address you gave when registering as a customer.
To change it please contact us by e-mail, phone or fax. At the foot
of the page you are asked to provide any special delivery information
(e.g. 'deliver at rear if no answer'). Click on NEXT to proceed.

Click on 'Next' to complete the ordering process.
Screen

help us with our orders administration, we ask that cancellations
and alterations be made within 24 hours. Please also read our Terms
and Conditions of Business.
REPEAT
ORDERS
As
a further time-saving feature our system allows you to save the
details of an order for use as a repeat order in the future (with
changes and additions as necessary) whenever your stocks need replenishing.
To do this click on 'VIEW ORDER' before you finally submit the order.
Then click the 'SAVE REPEAT ORDER' button at the foot of that page;
your order details will be preserved as a 'Cookie' on your own computer.
Then submit your order as above.
The
next time you log on to place an order go to the VIEW ORDER page
and click 'GET PREVIOUS ORDER'. The details of your last order will
be displayed. You can then change or delete items if you need to
and add extra items by browsing the catalogue as described above.
